Always there for you at the drop of a hat, Mel has to be one of the most selfless, kindhearted people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Having her by my side all these years has proven to be one of greatest adventures of my life thus far!

So where do I begin? I suppose I can start off by saying that I knew Lexi and I would be friends for life after the first time we ever hung out…or was it her warm bear hugs?…or was it her big & open heart? …or was it the fact that she exuded so much love and thoughtfulness that it was almost too much to believe? I’d say it was all of that and then some. I still, to this day, pinch myself because I cannot believe how lucky I am to have found a friendship as golden as the one we have together!

Although completely different in physical appearance, I truly believe I share a brain with this man. Some people can finish each others sentences, but we can complete each others design work. Since our college days in Gainesville, we’ve shared laughs, tears, music & beers and all the while growing closer with time. There are few cases on this earth were people are still friends with someone they have known since 4 years old, And although we don’t get to hang out as much as we did growing up, I can always pick up the phone or sit with a beer and in minutes feel like we never skipped a beat. Cousins more like brothers, we have been through it all. From way to many dance lessons to some serious early morning, window spitting, truck ditchin, hunting sessions. We wrestled till we turned blue or someone got hurt. And there’s just about nothing that won’t keep us away from Nana’s home cookin!
